Cookies

Last updated August 2026

This site sets a small number of cookies. Most of them exist so the booking form works at all. One is optional and does nothing unless you say yes to it.

We do not use a consent platform, because bringing in a third party to manage five cookies would mean adding a sixth that tracks you on their behalf.

Cookies that run without asking

These are strictly necessary, which means the site cannot do what you asked of it without them. Consent is not required for this category, and turning them off is not possible while using the booking form.

  • arkn_session— a random identifier that ties your form answers together so a half-finished form is not lost when you reload. Contains no personal data. Expires when you close the browser.
  • arkn_consent— remembers whether you accepted or rejected analytics, so we stop asking. Holds one word. Lasts 180 days.
  • Cal.com session cookies— set by Cal.com when the calendar opens, so a booking you start can be completed. Set by cal.com, governed by their policy.

The optional one

  • Analytics— tells us which pages people read and which links brought them here, in aggregate. It runs only if you accept, never before, and nothing is loaded until you do. Lasts 180 days.

Changing your mind

There is a small control in the bottom-left corner of every page. It shows a green dot when analytics is on and a grey one when it is off. Click it to reopen the panel and change your answer. Withdrawing is exactly as easy as agreeing, which is how it should be.

You can also clear cookies in your browser settings, which resets everything and means we will ask again on your next visit.

What we do not do

No advertising cookies. No cross-site tracking. No pixels for social platforms. No selling or sharing of anything we collect. If that changes, this page changes first and we will ask you again.

More detail

What we collect through the form itself, how long we keep it and how to have it deleted is in the privacy notice. Anything unclear, email nour@arkn.co.

This page is a working draft prepared by ARKN and has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer. Placeholders in brackets are completed before launch.
